  • Suivi de l’imprégnation biologique au cadmium de la population québécoise

    Les premières évaluations de l’imprégnation biologique par le cadmium de la population québécoise remontent principalement à la fin des années 80. À cette époque, les études d’exposition au cadmium faites dans le cadre de l’évaluation du risque pour la santé entraîné par la consommation d’abats de cerfs de Virginie, d’orignaux et de caribous avaient montré que les concentrations sanguines et urinaires de cadmium étaient très élevées dans la population québécoise, en particulier chez les fumeurs.
