    The error-related negativity is a negative deflection in the event-related potential maximal approximately 50 msec after the commission of errors. The error-related negativity is generated in the anterior cingulate cortex, and both anterior cingulate cortex hyperactivity and increased error-related brain activity have been reported in adults with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

    There are not many case-control trials evaluating the efficacy of intra-articular cortisones as a therapy for osteoarthritis of the hip, so this randomized trial has been performed in Canada, where patients suffering from painful osteoarthritis of the hip, refractory to very high doses of NSAIDs or paracetamol have been treated with triamcinolone acetonide (fluoroscopic-guided injected 40 mg) or with saline solution.
