H1N1 Influenza during Pregnancy

During influenza pandemics, pregnant women generally present a greater morbidity and mortality. At the beginning of H1N1 virus pandemic, the CDC have collected the results of all influenza cases confirmed in pregnant women, with the relative evolution and possible complications. Between April 15th and May 18th 2009, 31 confirmed cases, and 3 probable but not confirmed ones, of H1N1 influenza in pregnant women have been recorded.
